HOW CHAPS FILIPINO STYLE PEANUT BUTTERS STARTED

Since Immigrating to Canada from the Philippines, Sarah always misses her grandmother and mother's home made peanut butters.

Every vacation to the Philippines, the family would always bring back jars of the home made delicacies. Some of those jars ended up with family and friends and some of them recommended why not start to sell it since its more delicious than the ones they usually see in groceries aisle.

Its Made in Manitoba because it has a large population of Filipino calling Manitoba their home, they wanted to share the nostalgia of eating the peanut butters that they had when they were kids.

June 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic that Roy and Sarah decided to start and sell peanut butters.

They are usually seen on local craft sale on weekends and farmers market or on the shared commercial kitchen roasting and grinding peanuts.
